Freelance Facilitators

Uli Brückner
Uli Brückner teaches European Studies at the Berlin Center of Stanford University. He works as a political analyst for international media and is a member of the expert services TEAM Europe Direct of the European Union and the Bundeszentrale für Politische Bildung.
Eike Paulun
Eike Paulun studied political science and history, worked as an office manager for two MEPs after his studies and then worked as a political consultant for the Europäische Bewegung Deutschland. He currently works as a political contact manager at the IHK Berlin. In his private life, he is a member of the board of the Europa Union Berlin.


Eckart Stratenschulte
The political scientist Prof. Dr. Eckart Stratenschulte was director of the European Academy Berlin for almost 25 years. He teaches political science at the Freie Universität Berlin and works as a lecturer, moderator and publicist. He is also the author of the public brochure of the German Liaison Office of the European Parliament (“Europe 2024”) as well as several books and numerous articles on European topics.
Elisa Heuser
Elisa is a historian and is currently completing a PhD in cultural studies on the history of the body in the 19th century. She has been working for over ten years as a political educator on the topics of democracy and identity/diversity with a focus on class and classism. Between 2017 and 2019, she worked at polyspektiv as a project manager and speaker and has since supported the team as a freelancer.


Fabian Ernstberger
Fabian is studying “Public and Nonprofit Management” in Berlin and has established himself as a freelance moderator, author and speaker alongside his studies. His expertise and passion lie in the promotion of youth participation in politics and in education for sustainable development, particularly in the area of financial and consumer education. Fabian is also a volunteer on various committees at a national level, including as an elected member of the German Commission for UNESCO.
Anne Brockmann
Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and Communication Science from the University of Erfurt. She has worked for a member of the Bundestag in the constituency office for several years and was an intern at polyspektiv. She has also taken part in several training courses for political education work and works freelance in this field for various organizations.


Moritz Stöffler
Moritz is a political scientist specializing in social inequality and class society. At the German Center for Integration and Migration Research, he researched and published on the accessibility of anti-discrimination counseling from the perspective of those affected. Today, he is passionate about the political education of young people in order to promote their democratic effectiveness. He volunteers for refugees and supports them in their integration into training occupations.
Johanna Koch
Johanna is an expert in political communication with a focus on disinformation and conspiracy theories. As a media psychologist and political scientist, she has in-depth knowledge of the challenges of the digital information age in the context of hybrid threats. In addition, as a former member of the conspiracy ideology scene, she provides valuable insights into the world of disinformation and analyzes its influence on society and politics.


Alisa Grunert
Alisa has been active in political education as a consultant for more than three years, with experience in project management and education for sustainable development as well as global learning, especially for children. She is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Political Science and Sociology with a focus on International Relations and is conducting research in a Franco-German project on European industrial policy. She is also a member of the board of the Munich European Forum.
Felix Drechsler
Felix graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and is now studying Political Science at the Freie Universität Berlin. In addition to his studies, he works as a public affairs student trainee for a German digital association and has been freelancing in the education sector since 2022. He was also part of EU*Connect, a five-month interactive educational program on the role of the EU in the context of current conflicts. He is particularly interested in hot topics such as artificial intelligence and the European Green Deal.


Teresa Becher
Teresa is studying for a Master’s degree in political science at the Freie Universität Berlin – with professional stations at the German Bundestag, the Federal Foreign Office and GIZ, among others. She discovered her passion for political education as a trainer at Understanding Europe Germany, where she sensitized young people to European political issues, media literacy and climate issues. She has been active at polyspektiv since 2024, particularly in the projects “Europa im Blick” and “Perspektivwechsel”.
